Danaea Huntstar
Darth Sordion
Danaea is a promising young jedi who witnesses the murder of the Republic Chancellor by an unknown assassin she suspects is a Sith Lord. She tries desperately to prevent war from breaking out between the Republic and the Federation but she is framed for murdering the Federation Leader by the Sith and incites a war. She knows that the Sith are behind the war and is struggling to thwart their rise to power.
Darth Sordion is the mysterious figure who instigated the war between the Republic and the Federation. He is a devastating swordsman and one of three Sith who are manipulating the Federation. The Sith serve a force ghost called Darth Necronus.
THE DRAGON SOUL CYCLE
My name is Gordon Preston and I’ve been a full-time, professional artist and writer working out of my home studio since 2016. My passions are writing fantasy and sci fi stories and drawing comic book art. My story The Dragon Soul Cycle is based on my D&D adventures as a teenager.

The Dragon Soul Cycle is Shogun meets Lord of the Rings, about an epic war between samurais and knights. The war is instigated by demons seeking to exploit the darkness within the hearts of men to gain dominion. The story is about good and evil, but also the morally grey areas in between as formerly heroic men betray each other for selfish desires. In the end an epic battle is fought among a hurricane storm of demon spirits, and the heroes are tested beyond their limits as they struggle to overcome their own inner demons in order to defeat the terrible Demonshogun.

This was a strong start to the Dragonsoul Cycle series, it had everything that I wanted from this type of novel. It does a great introduction to the world and characters and I enjoyed the overall feel of this world. It left me wanting to read more in this series and from Gordon Preston.

Glaivian Solar
Glaivian was a denizen of Gedikuss's undercity, the slum section overrun by gangs and criminals where you have t fight just to survive. He had a chance to escape the undercity by participating in a speeder bike race on the pro circuit. War broke out between the Republic and the Federation and he joined the Republic armies special mechwarrior corps and fought to save the city of Daroken from being destroyed by Federation forces.
Starfighter
This snub fighter is equiped with strong blasters and shields but isnt as fast or maneouverable as the lighter interceptors nor does it have the missile firepower of a bomber

The Aegis
Wraith
The Aegis is part of a unit of renegades who hijack enemy mechs and attack the occupiers ground forces as a distraction, while a commando unit sneaks into the enemy base. The cannon is a rapid fire pulse plasma cannon that doubles as a charged particle cannon with a slower rate of fire. The shield is a force field that is powered by the units reactor, and can withstand most bombardment.
Wraith is a mandalorean mercenary whose former employers Czerka Corp murdered his brother when he refused to perform an assassination mission for them. Now he fights a one man war against the tyrannical coorporation from his hidden base in the undercity. He has a rapidfire assault blaster with a grenade launcher. His armour is a bronze durasteel alloy and his helmet has a miniature oxygen tank and can allow him to see in the dark and survive in space. He also has a jetpack.
STAR WARS: THE WAY OF THE FORCE TRILOGY
I have written three spec scripts comprising a trilogy set in the Star Wars universe. The stories follow four heroes: Danaea Huntstar, a jedi knight; Glaivian Solar, a pilot and speeder racer; Wraith, a mandalorean vigilante; and Carsten Sordar, a jedi knight.

Sinister forces manipulate the Republic and the Federation into a state of war, and the heroes desperately try to prevent that from happening. They fail, and must then prevent a world from being destroyed by an ecocidal machine that harvests coaxium.
​
During part two of the saga the sith overthrow the Federation from within, and Carsten and Glaivian fight for Danaea's love.
​
During part three of the saga Glaivian rescues Danaea from the enemy, but the sith reign supreme over the galaxy. Sordion comes under attack by the two other sith lords, and he must form an alliance with the jedi in order to beat them.

Some of my Star Wars scripts can be found on the blog part of the website [see the top of the homepage for the link]. I tried to strive for the adventure of Return of the Jedi, the drama of the recent Battlestar Galactica series, and the world building of Prequels. It has all the requisite Star Wars elements: great drama, lightsaber battles, fun banter, romance, speeder chases, and space battles but it's also got giant mech battles.

This is a youtube audiobook I made about one of my fantasy stories. Its about a hero and a heroine who rise up to battle five warring kings, who all derive their power from the fearsome dragons they ride. Its nothing like Eragon, nor is it like House of the Dragon, its very much a tale of good vs evil.

Zendragon
The Stormguard
This book is part one of a trilogy. It tells two stories. The first story is like Borne Identity meets Batman Begins in an asian setting. The hero Winteru is hunting a demon, and he is drawn into a struggle between two daimyo trying to seize a young girl called Akame and hold her father hostage, with the fate of the nation of Shidokan at stake. In the end Winter must choose between protecting the girl and getting the vengeance he craves. The second part is about a war between Shidokan and Garderon, caused by a magic portal connecting the seperate realms. The heroes seek a magical talisman called a riftbade, intending to use it to close the portal and end the war. They discover a dragon protects the sword, and they see a vision that reveals their deaths by dragonfire. Do they tempt fate to end the war, or do they give up their dangerous quest.
The Stormguard is the name of the group of eight heroes who set out to end the war between Shidokan and Garderon. Their members include three Zendragons from Shidokan. They are mystics who channel their ki's to become supernatural fighting machines. There are two Aviodic Knights from Garderon, but they distrust the Zendragons, and eventually come into conflict. There is also a mage called Sarien from the wizard city of Archion. His friend Vangael is a violet skinned Sivanari with golden eyes. She is a skillfull archer and holomancer. The last hero s the least likely, Althea the cleric. She is a naive young girl who feels out of place with such mighty heroes. Her faith in her goddess and herself is tested by their ordeals.

I love martial arts heroes like Bruce lee and Jet Li so I re-designed Ironfist to make him look a little more badass.
Blade
I really like the Blade movies and hope Marvel reboots his series with a new actor. Wesley Snipes was great though and his movies are classics.

Darth Saberoth
Sith Clonetrooper
Saberoth is a ruthless and conniving cyborg with a heart of stone and drop dead gorgeous looks. She betrays Darth Sordion when he jilts her for another lover. She is Danaeas nemesis and dreams of crushing her.
The clone troopers were bred by the Sith using ancient metatechnology from an extinct civilization from a prehistoric era of the galaxy. They are bred to be perfect weapons and are both fearless and conscienceless.

Winter Shoryu
Elven Ranger
Kazen is a Zendragon who betrays the order and begins his rise to become the Demonshogun. He is Winterus nemesis and a phenomenal warrior.
Winter falls in love with the priestess Althea, but she loves King Devaron. He tries to fight his feelings for her and despises himself for his neediness, but he is helpless against her power. He must reconcile himself to his unrequited love for her.
The elves of Aviallor are reknowned for their woodlore and archery and swordsmanship. They wear light leather armor so they can travel stealthily through the forest and ambush their enemies.

Mercenary
Republic Commando
This is a character I designed that is based on Han Solo. He's a gun for hire and a hotshot pilot.
These are the elite republic soldiers trained in medium blasters, hand to hand combat and demolitions. They are disciplined and driven to complete their missions.

Jade Solisar
Jade is a mysterious half elf Druid who is from the Lunashaera islands across the starion sea and has seen a vision of the coming of Akuregnon the dragonking who has traveled across time to the present from the past. She is hiding details of her past from her companions, but seems to have a link to the hidden city of the dragons, Dragneorn.

Batman
Thor
I have written a treatment for a Batman story where a high powered defense lawyer frees the Joker from prison to be his attack dog. Batman teams up with the Huntress and Azrael, a ruthless vigilante who kills criminals. Huntress is a District Attorney in her day job, and she uncovers a criminal conspiracy surrounding a new hallucinogenic drug that is causing some users to go on berserk killing sprees.
Thor had outstanding family drama between Odin, Thor and Loki. Thor's quest for redemption and Loki's bid for the throne made for great conflict. Ragnarok was also great, and Hemsworth showed great comedic ability and range as the asgardian hero.

Old Republic:Â The Return
I'm a huge fan of Star Wars and wish they'd make movies based on the Old Republic games, there's so much rich lore to mine for story gold. If I ever get movies made based on my stories then I'll insist that they study these cinematics and strive for a similar level of quality with the action.
Old Republic: The Deceived
This video blew my mind when it first came out, its truly fantastic. Darth Maegius is a supreme badass and just lays waste to the jedi. He hearkens back to the days of Darth Vader for being imposing and sinister. They've got to make a movie based on him eventually, he's too cool for school.

Republic troopers undergo months of intensive training to become formidable fighting machines. They must learn to cooperate with their squadmates and function as a unit and fulfill their designated roles
Gaberielle Fort
Gaberielle is a dedicated jedi knight who helps Wraith to raid a weapons factory of the Sith during the final conflict. In the end they are surrounded by overwhelming enemies and must be highly resourceful to survive

Interceptor
Darth Revan
The interceptor is a fast and sleek ship that lacks powerful cannons or strong shields but is able to out maneuver its enemy in a dogfight
Darth Revan is the sith lord who is redeemed and joins the lights side again after falling from grace. The twist where you learn his true past before his mind was wiped was cribbed from Phillip K. Dick but was still brilliant. He is the lead hero from the first Knights of the old Republic game.

Evandor
Special Agent
Evandor is a jedi knight who witnesses first hand the invasion of Daroken when war breaks out between the Republic and the Federation. He is a skillful swordsman and an expert in cyber slicing tech and software.
I haven't included her in one of my stories yet but this is a republic intelligence agent. My Star Wars stories include a lot of spycraft and cloak and dagger machinations.

Althea Damodrielle
Twin sword duelist
Althea is a half cast Garderon / Afcarian. She is a priestess of Illustrielle the goddess of love. She is a pacifist but isn't afraid of danger. Her holy powers protect her friends from all sorts of spiritual dangers, and her healing powers have saved their lives several times. The hero Winter is in love with her, but she loves King Devaron.
Winteru has mastered the two sword style, and uses it when he is fighting multiple opponents. The ability to trap your opponents weapon and attack their exposed flank with the free hand has proven to be invaluable in battle. Winter has trained himself to use both hands in combat and is ambidextrous, as you need extremely good hand eye coordination to wields two swords simultaneously.

Darth Tigeroth
Darth Sadis
She is not in one of my stories but her personality is very vain and coolly aloof, but fierce when angered. She likes to toy with her adversaries before delivering the deathblow with lightning swiftness
Sadis is a backstabbing, conniving snake who tries to pit his enemies against each other so he can attack the weakened survivor. He is very canny at forming strategic alliances and getting the better of his adversaries using sneak attacks.

Blademaster
Soraken
Winter
Winteru is a half cast shugyosha from Shikugan. Shugyosha are warriors dedicated to the perfection of swordplay, for them combat is a means of achieving spiritual enlightenment. They are constantly studying new techniques and tactics to improve themselves, and love the thrill of the challenge in combat.
Soraken lives in Shikugan but he was originally from across the jade sea in shou lung. He is a phenomenal martial artist and has been a member of the zendragons for several years. He doesn't speak of his family, for he is hiding a powerful secret about them.

Ryu vs Sagat
The Street Fighter animated movie is an indisputable masterpiece. The director uses great camera angles and editing to create adrenaline pumping action, and it is blended perfectly with the fantastic symphonic metal score. It escalates until Ryu delivers his dragonpunch uppercut and devastates Sagat, and crowns the battle with his knockout hadouken strike.
Ryu and Ken vs M.Bison
M.Bison was such an utter badass that neither fighter could beat him alone. His utter contempt for his foes is palpable, until they show him the folly of his arrogance. In the end a twin hadouken strike from both warriors defeats Bison's invincible psycho power.

Speeder Bike
This speeder bike has a huge jet thruster mounted on the back and is capable of speeds in excess of 900kph. This model was custom built by Darius for Glaivian to race in the Gedikuss grand prix.
Darth Maul
This zabrak paragon is the deadliest duelist of his time, slaying the mighty Qui Gon Jin in single combat. He would have killed his apprentice Obi Wan Kenobi but he was caught by surprise by a sneak attack and chopped in half. He survived this wound and was given robotic legs and used a criminal syndicate to conquer the planet of mandalore. He was overthrown by Obi Wan and his allies.

Blade
Psylocke
I've never read the comics but I've seen the movies and watched the excellent cartoon. It does such a great job of building up to Blades confrontation with Deacon Frost. He battles a variety of vampires and demons with his sidekick Mokoto.
Psylocke is such a great character from Jim Lees original Uncanny Xmen run. I prefer that version because she has her psychic knife that can psionically overload her opponents brain. She also appears in the brilliant Marvel vs Capcom 2 game, which is a masterpiece of beat 'em up action.

Hulk
Spiderman vs Lizard
Venom
This gamma irradiated goliath is a juggernaught of destruction. He is as liable to attack his friends as he is his foes when hes in a berserk rage. His alter ego Bruce Banner seeks to cure himself of the Hulk, seeing him as a dangerous affliction.
I used to collect Spiderman comics as a teenager and loved the first two Raimi movies for distilling the hero down to his essence and presenting his story dramatically. His burning passion for MJ was the most appealing facet of his character for me, and I hope the new Spiderman movie coming out in 2019 will live up to that example.
Venom was a former journalist who was exposed by Peter Parker as being a fraud, and had his career destroyed. He blamed him for his failure and when he gained the symbiote suite and his new powers he learned that Peter was Spiderman. Since then he made it his mission to terrorise and destroy Spiderman.

Weapon X
Robin
Wolverine is a ferocious fighter with limitless endurance. He is able to withstand incredible damage and regenerate fully. I like playing him in Marvel vs Capcom 2. He has a great variety of attacks from his drill claw, to his claw jumping uppercut and his berserker barrage.
I have written a treatment for a Teen Titans trilogy where Slade deceives Robin into trusting him, and uses him to gain valuable genetic research from the CADMUS program gained by experimenting on a captive Starfire. Raven is an ally of Slades, and Cyborg is one of many cybernetic footsoldiers of CADMUS.

Wraith
Xaguar
Mandallorean
This is what Wraith looks like without his armor on. He has a ship called the Star Raptor that is armed with rapid fire blaster turrets and missile launchers. Her turrets can target enemies attacking from the rear, and she also can deploy mines against enemies on her six. She also has a graviton tractor beam that is handy in all sorts of situations. She also has a cloaking system Wraith stole from a high tech Czerka corp research project. Wraith stole their only prototype and destroyed the facility so they couldn't replicate it.
Xaguar is a mercenary who works for the Federation and the Sith. He is ruthless and has killed numerous civilians when they get in the way of his goals. He has a stealth suit that enables him to bend lightwaves around him and become invisible.
This is another Mandallorean commando who wears the same armor as Wraith. These suites are very rare and only the most highly decorated soldiers receive them for meritorious conduct.

Vangael Solisar
Sarien
Elf Knight
Vangael is an elven princess from Aviallor who is the daughter of Queen Jaleira. She was formerly a spoiled narcissist but when her father died during the Hadeonite invasion 10 years ago she saw the error of her ways and became a ranger for the elven army. She learned magic like all elves, specializing in illusions of the 3rd circle.
Sarien is a talented battlemage from Archion. He fought in the Arena and became champion before joining the heroes. However, he has a secret he is hiding from his companions, one which will test his loyalty to the group. He is a mage of the 6th circle, which places him among the most powerful sorcerers.
The Elves have an elite guard that are the special bodyguards of Queen Jaleira. They are chosen from the realms finest swordsmen.

Daywalker
The Dark Knight
Blade is half human half vampire who is immune to sunlight. He takes a special serum which replaces his need to drink blood. He has a huge arsenal of weapons he uses to take down his bloodsucking enemies.
Batman is a master of martial arts. In the Nolan films he was already an expert martial artist before joining the League of Shadows, but training under Ras honed his tactical awareness. He is able to take down large groups of foes using the element of surprise.

Psylocke
Spiderman
This was a pose i copied from the Marvel vs Capcom 2 game. It had such revolutionary action for a beat 'em up game with the air combo system. Despite being over 16 years old i still love playing it on my old xbox.
The Sam Rami movies marked a watershed moment for the popularization of superheroes in cinema and the first 2 are among my favorite genre films.

Glaivian Solar
Pilot
Jedi Master
Glaivian is a daredevil pilot who can operate both mechs and ships skillfully. He enlisted in the Republic army and joined their special mech operating corps. He has a knack for tactics, and is able to use terrain features to his advantage during combat.
She doesn't appear in my story but she was conceived to be a ships pilot and mechanic.
This is a jedi I drew ages ago. I was inspired by the roman form of dress, and thought it would look cool in a futuristic setting

Wolverine
Now that the hero is back in the hands of Marvel I hope we get to see him in costume. I love Wolverine because of the Marvel vs Capcom game, he had such a great variety of attacks.
Supergirl
The maid of steel was torn from her culture and cast into an alien culture which she had to adapt to and assimilate with. Superman grew up on earth but arriving here for Kara Zor El involved considerable culture shock.

Luke Skywalker
I have written the first script of a trilogy loosely based on the Mara Jade saga. Thrawn is back, and Lando is competing against a rival for the position of Chancellor of the republic. The stakes are the safety of the galaxy, only Lando has the wise policies needed to battle a resurgent Empire, if he loses the race the Republic is doomed.
Wraith
I was a huge fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger movies as a wee lad and I designed Wraith to be an engine of destruction like Arnie was. I wanted a hero who doesn't rely on the force to make him powerful, he relies on technology instead. Wraith is a match for any Sith, no matter how powerful.

Cyclops
Iron Man
Cyclops is the leader of the X-men. I liked playing him in the Marvel vs Capcom 2 game. He had a variety of optic attacks and martial arts maneuvers. I hope that when Marvel reboots him they make him more badass than he was in the Fox movies.
Iron Man was the character who spearheaded the marvel cinematic universe. I knew he'd translate well to movies because hes such a badass character in concept.

Captain America
My Batman treatement will see the return of Christian Bales Batman and the Joker. Batman is framed for murder, so he must battle the cops in addition to the criminals and the corrupt.
I thought the Winter Soldier was such a great superhero film that transcended the genre. It reminded me of the Bourne movies, especially the dazzling hand to hand action. The writers have done such a great job of giving Cap depth and complexity, he's a boy scout like Superman but he's much more interesting.
